The Legislative Council of Igbogbo-Baiyeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA) has felicitated with Hon. Adebimpe Akinsola, former member of the Lagos State House of Assembly representing Ikorodu Constituency II and former Acting Commissioner for Tourism, Arts and Culture, Lagos State, on the occasion of her 65th birthday.

Speaking on behalf of the Legislative Council, the Leader of the House, Princess Basirat Adetutu Banjoko, described Hon. Akinsola as a distinguished leader, an astute politician and a role model whose contributions to legislative excellence and public service in Lagos State remain commendable.

Princess Banjoko noted that Hon. Akinsola’s impactful representation at the Lagos State House of Assembly and her dedicated service in the executive arm as Acting Commissioner have left indelible footprints in the development of Ikorodu and Lagos State at large.

The Legislative Council prayed for long life, sound health, and continued relevance for the celebrant, while wishing her more years of service to humanity and the state.
