He also informed members that the introduction of the Street Captains initiative would commence soon, directing each Youth Leader to nominate a respectable, approachable, and community-oriented young person from their respective areas to serve in the role.
To strengthen coordination within the forum, a committee was constituted through nominations to oversee and drive the activities of the APC East Senatorial Youth Leaders Forum. The committee comprises Hon. Caleb Olonitola (Bariga), Hon. Saheed Balogun (Epe), Hon. Ayodele Ahmed (Ikorodu), Hon. Omokhndu Alufohai (Kosofe), and Hon. Adeniyi Lukman (Ibeju-Lekki).
Speaking on the outcome of the meeting, Senior Aide to the Lagos East APC Senatorial Youth Leader, Alhaji Sonaike Omotola, said the gathering focused on developing practical strategies for effective grassroots mobilisation and ensuring the success of APC candidates at all levels in the forthcoming elections.
According to Sonaike, the meeting also provided an avenue for youth leaders from across the district to align with the party’s objectives while reaffirming their commitment to mobilising support for the APC at the grassroots.
He commended Hon. Ismail Tunde Badmus for his dedication to youth development, describing him as an accessible and committed leader whose inclusive leadership continues to unite and empower young people across Lagos East.
Sonaike added that Hon. Badmus’ leadership has inspired confidence among party youths and strengthened their collective resolve to work together towards securing victory for the APC in future elections.
