The Anwar-ul-Islam Youth Association of Nigeria (AYAN) has concluded its 2026 Students’ Vacation Course (SVC) 1448AH, held from Wednesday, August 5, to Sunday, August 9, 2026, at the Anwar-ul-Islam Mosque, Oshota, Ikorodu, Lagos.

The five-day programme, themed “Instilling Islamic Manners in the Emerging Generation,” brought together students from different branches and State Councils across Nigeria for a period of learning, spiritual development, character building and academic engagement.

The course featured activities designed to promote Islamic knowledge, good character, moral discipline, academic development and spiritual growth among participants. The activities included Qur’an memorisation, Tahajjud, Islamic lectures, career and health talks, English Language lessons, AYAN history, physical exercises, Jumu’ah service and evaluation.

A major highlight of the programme was the students’ evaluation, which assessed participants’ understanding and performance throughout the course.

At the formal closing ceremony, participants received certificates in recognition of their participation and successful completion of the programme. Outstanding participants and winners of the evaluation were also recognised and presented with gifts in appreciation of their performance and commitment.

The closing ceremony was attended by leaders, representatives and members of the Anwar-ul-Islam Movement, who commended the organisers for putting together a well-coordinated programme aimed at nurturing the younger generation.

The programme was chaired by Bro. Dhikrullahi Adigun, National Education Secretary of AYAN, whose coordination, alongside members of the organising committee, contributed to the successful delivery of the course.

AYAN expressed appreciation to its National Executive Members, State Councils, missionaries, facilitators, volunteers, parents and other individuals who supported the programme and contributed to its success.

The 2026 Students’ Vacation Course ended on Sunday, August 9, with participants returning to their respective branches and State Councils with renewed Islamic knowledge, strengthened moral values and memorable experiences.
