
The Council Leader of Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA, Princess Basirat Adetutu Banjoko, on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, received separate courtesy visits from leaders and youths of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the council.
The first delegation comprised the newly appointed APC Ward C1 Chairman, accompanied by the Ward Woman Leader, who paid a courtesy visit to the Council Leader at her office.
Discussions centred on the progress of the party, strengthening unity among members and fostering a stronger working relationship towards the advancement of Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA.
Princess Banjoko also received members of the APC Youth Wing from across the wards in Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA, spanning Ward A1 to Ward C5.
The engagement focused on issues affecting youths, their participation in politics, inclusion and the need to strengthen collaboration between the youth wing and the office of the Council Leader.
The Council Leader appreciated both delegations for the courtesy visits and constructive discussions, stressing the importance of unity, inclusiveness and meaningful collaboration in advancing the interests of residents.
She reaffirmed her commitment to working with APC leaders, youths and other stakeholders towards promoting unity and fostering continued progress and development in Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA.
