The Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM), Divine Restoration Zone, Agbede, under the leadership of Pastor Funmilayo Korede, has extended its welfare support to elderly members, less privileged persons and other members of the church through the distribution of food items.

The initiative was designed to demonstrate love, care and practical support to members of the congregation, particularly senior citizens and those in need, while reinforcing the church’s commitment to the wellbeing of its members.

Speaking on the initiative, Pastor Funmilayo Korede emphasised the importance of caring for the elderly and showing appreciation for their sacrifices, prayers and wisdom. He noted that senior citizens remain an important part of the church family, deserving love, honour and support from the younger generation and the entire congregation.

According to him, the gesture was not only about providing food items but also about making the beneficiaries feel valued and remembered. He encouraged members to make kindness and compassion a regular part of their Christian lives, stressing the importance of putting faith into action by reaching out to people in need.

The food distribution brought smiles and gratitude to the faces of the beneficiaries, as members received various food items provided through the initiative. The church described the moment as a beautiful demonstration of God’s love and provision, giving thanks for the opportunity to support members of the congregation.

Pastor Korede also expressed appreciation to the elderly members of the church for their years of prayers, sacrifices, wisdom and contributions to the growth of the congregation. He prayed for God’s continued blessings upon them, including strength, good health, long life and many more fruitful years.

The pastor further appreciated the individuals and sponsors whose generosity contributed to the food distribution, acknowledging their support as a channel through which many members were able to receive assistance.

He prayed that God would replenish the resources of the sponsors, reward their labour of love and continue to use them to touch lives positively.

The church also gave glory to God for the outreach, noting that the joy and appreciation expressed by the beneficiaries served as a reminder of the importance of caring for one another.

The outreach reflects the MFM Divine Restoration Zone Agbede’s commitment to strengthening fellowship, supporting vulnerable members and promoting a culture of love, compassion and practical Christian service within the congregation..
