LSSF Ikorodu Division Commends Six Council Chairmen Over Leadership Training ~Ajasa-Info

The Lagos State Supervisors and Special Advisers (LSSF), Ikorodu Division, has commended the six Executive Chairmen of Ikorodu Division for providing political office holders with the opportunity to participate in the leadership training programme tagged “Serving Within the Mandate.”

In a statement signed by its Chairman, Comrade Odusanya Abdulateef Omotayo, on behalf of the beneficiaries, LSSF described the training as an important initiative aimed at strengthening the capacity of political office holders and promoting effective service delivery at the grassroots.

The group urged participants to embrace the various development agendas across the division, stressing the importance of collective commitment to prosperity for all and purposeful leadership.

The statement referenced development messages and agendas associated with different parts of the division, including the “Glorious Path” in Igbogbo-Baiyeku, “New Deal Agenda” in Ikorodu North, “Eleyinju Anu” in Ikorodu Central, “Ijedetunrayo” in Ijede and “Real Deal Agenda” in Imota.

LSSF said the leadership training had set a standard for political office holders in the division, noting that the knowledge and practical insights gained would support effective representation, responsible governance and improved service delivery.

The group commended the six council chairmen for their foresight, courage and commitment to the initiative, while calling for the training to be sustained and expanded to provide continuous capacity development for political office holders.

LSSF also appealed for improved welfare for political office holders, noting that better welfare would enable them to remain effective in the discharge of their responsibilities amid prevailing economic realities.

The statement expressed appreciation to the six Executive Chairmen for the opportunity to participate in the training and urged the beneficiaries to apply the lessons gained towards improving service delivery in their respective councils.

“On behalf of all beneficiaries, we wish to express our profound appreciation to the Six Executive Chairmen of Ikorodu Division for this kind gesture and for the rare opportunity to participate in this year’s Leadership Training, tagged ‘Serving Within the Mandate,’” the statement said.

The group concluded by thanking the council chairmen for their exemplary leadership and commitment to strengthening grassroots governance across Ikorodu Division.
